Artist BIOGRAPHY

I am an artist based in the mountains of Boulder Colorado, but deeply rooted in the bluegrass of Louisville Kentucky. In college I am pursuing my passions within architecture, lighitng design, and fine art. Within this education I explore the interaction between light, color and forms. I translate that knowledge into my traditional oil painitng practice. I started practicing portraiture in 2016 when I started a non-profit taking comissions in exchange for donations to my hometown charities. Apart form commissions, I work on creating a body of work that reflects my individual perception of beauty in this world. I am inspired by the power of light to alter our perception of forms in both the natural world and the built environment around us. Noticing moments of light, color, and movement all around me stimulates my desire to recreate these moments through my own perception. Though I focus on painting, I have a lot of digital art and digital fabrication experinece too. My most recent mediums have been oil paint, figure drawing, and digital art.
