Selected works

The focus of my recent paintings has been juxtaposition of contemporary and traditional aesthetics. I am inspired by the beautiful simplicity of old fashioned southern culture but stimulated by the vibracncy of modern styles. In these paintings, I push stereotypes to create uncomfort outside of archetypal personas that we have grown acustomed to.
